Congratulations to Dave Grimes, who put together two solid days of golf to successfully defend his Stroke Play Championship title. Dave held off a field of 15 other competitors, posting rounds of 77 and 78 to secure the victory. Kyle Preusser finished runner-up, with Darren Conte rounding out the top three after a strong weekend of golf.
This year’s field consisted of 16 players, with the top seven finishers looking to join defending Club Champion Matt Wood in next month’s Club Championship. In addition to Dave and Darren, strong performances from TJ Merante, Mike Konderwich, James Clarke, and Dustin Conte earned them spots in the Championship Flight. Due to a prior commitment from second-place finisher Kyle Preusser, first alternate Eric Schwarz will move into the field. Congratulations again to Dave on successfully defending his title and thank you to everyone who competed this weekend.
