The Only Private Club in Columbia County, New York

Columbia Golf & Country Club has been rewarding and challenging golfers since 1919. Nestled in the rolling hills of Claverack, NY, with picturesque views of the Catskill Mountains, the Club is only a short drive from Hudson, NY and the Berkshires Massachusetts, and two hours north of New York City. Our diverse group of members enjoy the 18-hole golf course, a full practice facility, and a complete pro shop, as well as the swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts and the newly upgraded restaurant. The Club is more than a golf course; it is a place where friends and families gather to play, relax and socialize.

Columbia Golf & Country Club invites you to become a member. Since 1919, the Club has been the social and sports center of Columbia County. The only private golf and country club in Columbia County, the Club provides a great member experience with an 18-hole golf course, a swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a restaurant that provides fresh, local, Americana cuisine.

Golf

Columbia Golf & Country Club has been rewarding and challenging golfers since 1919. Developed in a timeless, parkland style, the 18-hole course offers unmatched tranquility and immaculate conditions. The course is complemented with the best practice facility in the county (75 to 325 yards), including a dedicated short game area with two greenside bunkers. The Club’s golf pro offers lessons and clinics to take your game to the next level, while the pro shop sells a wide selection of clothing, equipment, and golf accessories so you can look and play your best.

Pool

Take a break and dive into the Club’s cool, calm swimming pool. The expansive pool area boasts lounge chairs, umbrellas, pool toys and more. There is a playground and picnic tables with plenty of shade to escape the heat, and food and drink is available from The Grillroom. Where else would you like to be on those hot summer days? At Columbia Golf & Country Club, there is plenty of room to relax and unwind without the crowds.

Tennis and Pickleball 

Make a racket on the Club’s tennis and pickleball courts and enjoy the picturesque surroundings and welcoming environment. The two well-maintained courts are available throughout the season, with pickleball paddles and balls available in the pro shop.

Enjoy a delicious farm-to-table experience in The Grillroom, where our Executive Chefs prepare fresh, local Americana Cuisine. Our friendly and attentive staff create a warm and welcoming environment for members and guests to relax and socialize at the bar after a round of golf or to dine in or out on the covered patio.
