Afternoon thunderstorms derailed what was sure to be an exciting finish to the 2025 Solheim Cup. After the afternoon session of better ball began, so did the lightning.
The morning session of scramble play was split 2-2. Captain Laura Perlman, and partner Joyce Ketay put an early point on the scoreboard for the Blue Team. Judy Scherzer and Bobbi Oliner also chipped in a point for the Blue. Not to be outdone, Captain Beth Steinberg , paired with Carol Mintzer, collected a point for her White Team. Rounding out the scoring for the White team was the duo of Eileen Kelman and Kim Hines.
