n our Championship flight, Paul Greene used two days of steady play to capture the overall Senior Championship. Lex Malas, who also had a weekend of steady play, finished a point back. Lex’s play earned the top net spot. A 2nd round charge from Rob Lagonia earned him 2nd gross honors, in a scorecard playoff over Tim Wyman. However, Tim was able to take home 2nd net bragging rights.
In our 1st flight, Dan Keyser had a solid back 9 finish to top Gary Siegel and win the flight. After losing a scorecard playoff, Gary collected himself a 2nd gross finish. Jim Alvarez won the net portion of his flight by a mile. He could have sold a few points to his fellow competitors. Jim Armstrong’s solid 1st round enabled him to hold on to 2nd net honors.
Bob O’Mara’s blazing 27-hole start allowed him to run and hide from the rest of his flight and clinch 1st gross. Ron Wilcox’s -1 finish earned him top net honors. A day 2 chase from Neal Conolly fell short but secured his 2nd gross finish. Tom Falus rode the momentum from yesterday’s round and closed out his flight with a 2nd net finish.
